Public Speaking, Business Networking, & Professional Etiquette are vital skills that every person should nurture, regardless of what the person’s field of work or study is in. This course will teach students three things. First, students will learn how to confidently and clearly speak in public. Students will learn how to present their arguments in speeches, presentations, and in debates. Students will also learn how to listen to others’ arguments, so that speaking can be used as a tool for meditation and not confrontation.

Second, students will learn how to network in business. Students will learn how to network in three steps: making first point-of-contact, building a relationship, and nurturing a relationship. Third, students will learn professional etiquette. From a proper handshakes to proper emails, students will learn how to make a good impression on those around them, so that they can find success wherever they may go.

The course will have two cohorts, one in June and another in July. The program will culminate in an actual networking event with business leaders in Myanmar. This will be an amazing, special opportunity for students to meet business leaders in Myanmar, and to practice what they have learned. The relationships they can build in this networking event can be beneficial for university applications, and for opportunities in life!

ပထမအပိုင်းတွင် ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူများကို ဆွေးနွေးပွဲများ၊ နှီးနှောဖလှယ်ပွဲများ နှင့် ကျပန်းစကားပြောပွဲများတွင် ကိုယ့်၏ မတူညီတဲ့ အတွေးအမြင်တွေကို ဘယ်လိုပြောကြားဆွေးနွေးရမလဲ ဆိုတာကို သင်ကြားပေးမှာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူတွေအနေနှင့်လည်း တခြားသူတွေ၏ မတူသော အတွေးအမြင်တွေကို ငြင်းခုံစရာမလိုပဲ ဘယ်လို အသုံးချနိုင်မလဲ ဆိုတာကို ပါ သိရှိလာမှာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

ဒုတိယအပိုင်းတွင် ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူတွေကို စီးပွားရေးနယ်ပယ်တွင် လူမှုကွန်ယက်တခုကို ဘယ်လိုတည်ဆောက်ကြမလဲ ဆိုတာကိုပါသင်ကြားပေးမှာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူတွေကို တည်ဆောက်ပုံနှင့် ပတ်သက်ပြီး ပထမဦးစွာ အဆက်အသွယ်ပြုလုပ်ရမည့်ပုံ၊ ဆက်ဆံရေးကို ဘယ်လိုတည်ဆောက် ရပုံနှင့် ရေရှည် ဆက်လက်ထိန်းသိမ်းသွားရန် လိုအပ်မှုများကို သင်ကြားပို့ချပေးမှာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဦးစွာ စတင်လက်ဆွဲ နှုတ်ဆက်ရာမှ အစ စာနှင့် ဆက်သွယ်ရာတွင်လည်း ကိုယ့်အပေါ် အထင်ကြီးလေးစားမှု့ ရှိလာစေရန် ‌သိသင့် သိထိုက်သော အချက်အလက်များကို သင်ကြားပေးမှာ ဖြစ်သောကြောင့် မည်သည့် နယ်ပယ်တွင် မဆို လူမှု့ကွန်ယက်ကောင်းတခုကို ကောင်းစွာ တည်ဆောက်နိုင်မှာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။

သင်တန်းတို (၂) ခုဖြစ်ပြီး ဇွန်လ နှင့် လိုင်လ များတွင် သင်ကြားသွားမည် ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ သင်တန်းတခုစီတိုင်းတွင် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ စီးပွားရေး လုပ်ငန်းရှင်များနှင့် အမှန်တကယ် ချိတ်ဆက်ပြီး ကွန်ယက်တည်ဆောက်နိုင်မည့် အစီအစဥ်များလည်း ပါရှိပါသည်။ ထိုအစီအစဥ်သည် ကျောင်းသားကျောင်းသူများ အတွက် တကယ့် စီးပွားရေး လုပ်ငန်းရှင်များနှင့် တွေ့ဆုံနိုင်သော စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားစရာ အခွင့်အရေးတခု ဖြစ်သလို ကိုယ်သင်ယူထားသော သင်ခန်းစာများကိုလည်း လက်တွေ့ အသုံးချနိုင်မှာ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။ ဒီလို ကောင်းမွန်သော လူမှုကွန်ယက်များသည် နိုင်ငံခြားတက္ကသိုလ်များလျှောက်ထားရာတွင် လည်းကောင်း ကိုယ့်ဘ၀ အတွက်ပါ အကျိုးရှိစေမည့် ခြေလှမ်းများ ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
